Fun the old fashion way

The whole family went to Brandywine Creek with Cody.
We walked the trails then took a dip in the creek to cool off!
Cody realized he could swim!
I think he was trying to save the girls.....
Every time he couldn't touch the bottom....he would grab the leash in his mouth
and start swimming toward shore....I guess he figured if he couldn't touch the bottom....
the girls couldn't either!

Took me back to the old days.....playing in the crick with
old black rubber inner tube with patches or duct tape sealing the holes
that would burn your skin if you didn't cool both sides off in the water
before you hopped on!

Happy 4th of July!

The girls were in the parade. They rode in Tower 19 and tossed candy to onlookers!
They also got autographed pictures with Miss Delaware's Outstanding Teen!
The picture I took with Natalie did not turn out.....I have to email her and have her send it.

Even though she had her tonsils and adnoids out three days ago....
she had enough energy to ride in the parade!
